Nearly a year after the the idea of this band was formed, The Scenic Sound has performed over 120 live shows across Canada, released a mini-album and are about to do it all again!

The Scenic Sound’s first studio mini-album, “Standing Still,” is the product of a writing process aimed at crafting catchy pop songs that would resonate inside the hearts of listeners. “We specifically and carefully chose each word to communicate sincere emotions and relatable messages. We wanted to create something important, something that people felt like singing.”

Produced by SOCAN #1 awarded producer Murray Daigle (Faber Drive, Neverest), the 5 tracks feature bold percussion and upbeat piano, acoustic guitar and string arrangements.

As a Canadian songwriter from Toronto, Tim has written two top ten singles for other artists (including a song listed in the top 100 Christian tracks of 2013 according to the CRCC) and performed thoroughly across Canada, fronting his previous band.

“My favorite track is a song called ‘Believe in Me.’ It’s a track written as a reminder that there are going to be challenges in life.  Whether they are health related, emotional challenges or physical obstacles, we can chose whether to roll up in a ball and try and hide from it, or try to figure out how to get through it, over it or above it. It’s also a reminder that you are not alone. You are surrounded by friends, parents and people who are willing to support you, you just need to reach out and ask them to believe in you.”

The Scenic Sound has started penning the tracks that will become the next mini-album, while performing live and online in support of “Standing Still.”
